How can I raise the energy level of the team? (PART II)
The ideas given in part I are some things you can do during a “captured audience” environment, but what about keeping the energy level high when they are on their own?
a. you must help your team member find out the real reason behind why they are doing what they are doing. I work quite a bit with people in the insurance business and since these individuals are pretty much their own boss, they have to learn how to keep up their own momentum. A very big factor behind those who succeed in the business is they know what they want. This “knowing what one wants” is something most people do not have an answer to and that is why they lose their energy and drive.
b. lifestyle is so important. If a person’s lifestyle is out-of-sync it is very hard for that person to maintain a peak performance state of mind.
For example, if a person sleeps after midnight, the state of their brain is already affected! Or if a persons smokes and drink, their brain energy is also affected! Even eating late dinner – the best is have dinner over by 8 p.m., considering the fact you will sleep before 12 midnight.
c. one of the activities that I starting using in my training and one which I find to be very powerful is “tapping” or the “emotional freedom technique”. This technique is something I have learned and did a lot of research in and found it to be so wonderful. You can learn more about it at www.emofree.com
This technique is based on how meridians (in Chinese acupuncture) work, the concept of “chi” and energy, and the power of words. It is also based on the fact that our brain and our body is one integrated whole.
A very significant effect is the release of negative or frozen energy/emotion and to input new and powerful energy/emotion.
One thing I found about motivation and keeping energy level high is this:
a. it takes more than a one-time rah rah rah can-do seminar
b. it takes at least 30 -90 days for the brain to rewire so it can maintain its own momentum
c. it takes a combination of energy and cognitive alignment!
我怎樣可以提高團隊的能量水平? (第二部份)
我在第一部份所提供的小秘方是適合在課堂的環境。但你可以怎樣幫助團隊成員在課餘時候仍然保持高能量?
1. 你一定要幫你的團隊成員找出他們工作背後的原因。在工作上我接觸很多保險從業員,有由於工作性質他們是自己的老闆,所以他們要學如何保持動力。其實,一個人成功很大的因素是很清楚知道自己想要甚麼。但大部份的人都不知道自己想要些甚麼,因此他們便失去動力及能量。
2. 生活模式是很重要的。如果一個人的生活模式是不規律,他/她是很難在心智上達到最佳狀態。
例如:如果一個人在晚上12時後才睡覺,他/她的腦部已受到影響!又或者當一個人吸煙或飲酒,他/她的能量也大大受影響!甚至是比較夜才吃晚餐也會受影響! (最佳的吃晚餐時間是晚上8時之前,睡眠時間晚上12時之前)
3. 在我的培訓課程中,我發現『tapping』(適放情緒能量的技巧)是一項最有效的活動。這技巧是我在別處學到的,花了很多時間去研究。你可以到以下網址參考www.emofree.com . 這技巧是源於中國經絡的原理,當中包含有『氣』和能量,思想以及字句的力量的概念。當中的原理也包含了腦部及身體是合一運作的。這技巧能把人內在的負面能量釋放,而同時引入正面及新的能量。
在提高動力及能力這方面,我發現:
1. 不能單單靠一個一次過的課程和幄活動
2. 要用30至90日去讓腦部建立一個新的網絡
3. 智力和能量是要互相配合
